Too much new; not enough old
Loved Dany Ome's music, his non-stop performance, and his continued vocal talent. Also loved how he silenced the intoxicated person at the front, and enjoyed the overall night. Thank you for visiting Tucson, Dany Ome, we look forward to your return.
Negative aspects included a significant low-note feedback noise at times, which was quite disturbing. Additionally, most of the songs performed were new, and I would have preferred a mix of old favorites. I felt that the focus on new songs was a tactic to promote new albums. Lastly, the personal and environmental messages delivered during the concert were not appreciated, as I had come for the music, not the commentary.
I had brought my husband to the show with the promise that he would recognize Dany Ome's music, only to discover that only a few well-known songs were played, and they were saved for the end.
